This online course will explain the ASC administrator’s human resource responsibilities as part of an overall effective human resource strategy.
Employees are an ASC’s most valuable resource. To remain competitive in today’s healthcare environment, ASCs need to view the human resources function strategically as it relates to the ASC’s mission and goals. Human resource management includes all the activities related to attracting, developing, and maintaining an effective work force. The human resources function is responsible for developing an HR plan, complying with applicable government regulations, recruiting and selecting personnel, administering compensation and benefits, assessing and developing skills, and measuring performance.
