Overview
The goal of every ASC is to provide a safe, functional, supportive, and effective environment for patients, staff members, and other individuals in the organization. Patients trust that their operative procedures will be performed by a credentialed physician; that a sterile environment will be provided in the operating room; that anesthesia will be administered by a credentialed healthcare provider; and that any emergency will be handled in an efficient manner.
The goal of this online course is to help ASC administrators establish an administrative framework for delivering high quality operative management and diagnostic services in ambulatory settings. Administrators can use this information to assess the support services necessary for providing safe patient care.
Learning Outcomes
