Safe Administration of Moderate Sedation Online Course

This course is a seven-module online educational tool for registered nurses working in ambulatory surgery centers, endoscopy centers, physician office-based surgery centers and any other health care facility that provides moderate sedation without the presence of a licensed anesthesia care provider. This course will provide the level of education and training necessary to safely administer and monitor the patient receiving moderate sedation in an environment in which an anesthesia provider may not be available or may not be required. The learner will have four months in which to complete all seven modules.
